Josias Santos
Josias Santos started the Event 32 final table as the chip leader but could not complete the job he started and is out in sixth place with two players finishing him off in Tim Woodson along with Stefan Meier.
Santos opened to 75,000 in the hijack and Woodson three-bet all-in for 305,000 on the button. Santos called with 8♦8♠ and had the 10♥7♥ of Woodson at risk. The A♥J♥3♥ flop, however, put Woodson firmly out in front and he earned the double up.
Santos was knocked down to 155,000 and lost his remaining chips against Stefan Meier the very next hand when his A♠4♠ fell to Meier’s A♦J♣.
