Jack Salter waited as long as possible to enter the Venetian High Roller but the decision is working out so far as he is playing over triple the 50,000 he started with.

Jack Salter started Level 20 as one of the max late entrants in the High Roller field and has already tripled his starting of 50,000 thanks in part to the elimination of Jake Schindler.

Salter moved all-in for about 90,000 in the hijack and Schindler called for just less than that on the button. Salter’s A♣A was a favorite against Schindler’s 6♣6♠ but the 109♠6 flop put Schindler in the lead. The A turn, however, put Salter back in front. The Q♠ river held up for Salter and he is playing 165,000.

The field is now down to 17 players as the money bubble nears with 12 places paid.
