David Peters

David Peters starts the final table as the short stack and despite chipping up in the early levels, is the first player out. Peters lost a large pot to Sam Soverel before the new level and needed to double to climb back into contention.

Peters shoved on the button for 270,000 and Christian Christner called for not much more out of the small blind. It was a flip for effectively the tournament life of both players as Peters held 9♣9 against the A♠10♠ of Christner. The A104♠ flop was a death knell for Peters and he failed to catch his two-outer on the turn or river.

Christner is back about where he started the final table with 650,000 while the table can breathe easier with Peters out.
