Martin Kozlov
The increased blinds have created more action in Level 26 and Martin Kozlov is the second casualty of the level. Kozlov started the final table second in chips but had nothing go his way and was short when the new level started.
Kozlov moved all-in for 267,000 under the gun and Paul Volpe did the same in the cutoff. Chris Hunichen thought about calling but elected to fold his button. The blinds mucked and Kozlov turned over A♠10♦, needing help against the A♣Q♦ of Volpe.
The Q♥7♦3♥ flop was not what Kozlov wanted to see and neither was the A♥ turn. Kozlov headed to the desk to collect his payout once the river bricked and Volpe is back up to 1,000,000 after taking a few small hits following his double up.
Kozlov earns $53,136 in a run that is all the more impressive considering he started Day 2 as the shortest stack in the field.
