Rich Dixon folded to the pressure of Darren Healy and managed to escape hot water for the time being.
Darren Healy’s chip stack allows for him to keep the pressure on his remaining final table opponents and Rich Dixon found himself in the crosshairs. Dixon faced a decision for most of his chips as Healy put him to the test.
Healy opened for a standard raise in the hijack and Dixon called in the small blind. The flop came out J♠9♣7♣ and Dixon led for 300,000. Healy then raised him to 700,000 and Dixon called after a minute’s time.
The 6♦ came on the turn and Dixon slowed down with a check. Healy bet 700,000 more, putting almost 40 percent of Dixon’s chips at risk. Dixon counted down his stack and folded the J♥ to the table. Healy revealed K♥K♠ to take the pot and put himself up to 6,900,000. Dixon still has 1,850,000 but it could have been much worse were it not for his correct fold.
