Michael Azria finally has the double he’s been looking for after locking up an all-in win against Andreas Krause.
Michael Azria played the patient game at this final table as well as he could. Azria repeatedly got all-in shoves through to stay around and keep his DSE III title chances alive. He was going to get called eventually but Azria managed to dodge elimination against Andreas Krause.
Krause opened to 160,000 under the gun and Azria jammed or 1,130,000 out of the small blind. Krause evaluated his own stack and called to put Azria at risk with K♣10♣. Azria started the hand with the lead A♠6♠ but fell behind on the K♠9♥4♠ flop. Still alive with a flush draw and over card, Azria binked the J♠ turn to lock up the hand and the double.
Azria jumps up to 2,450,000 and Krause is right next to him with 2,585,000.
