There are multiple tables out in the Event 56 field that no player would want the pleasure of sitting at and Table 64 is among them with three seats in a row occupied by hungry sharks.

Office hours are officially in session as David “Doc” Sands gets to work on Day 2. Sands is as accomplished as any player in this field and has millions of dollars in earnings and hands played working to his advantage. There have been a few DSE deep runs for Sands in the past and this event marks another opportunity for him to add one more title to his spectacular career.

If you didn’t know him before this summer, you definitely know him now. DJ Alexander is officially a household name after taking second in the WSOP Millionaire Maker event earlier this month. Alexander earned a mammoth $754,499 for that event and if he can work his magic once more in Event 56, would be in a position to earn his fourth career six-figure cash.

Sitting on the other side of Alexander is fellow Houstonian, Jackson White. White has been grinding along on the tournament circuit for a few years now and made his first career WSOP final table last summer in the Summer Solstice event. While not as heralded as his two tablemates, White has the chance to earn his breakout score in this event and bring more dollars back to Texas.
