Adam Geyer is near the chip lead with only 21 players remaining in Event 56.
Level 26 is at an end and players are on their first break of the day. Nearly half of the field that started Day 3 has been sent out and only 21 players remain. Adam Geyer and Max Lehmanski are responsible for two of the most recent eliminations to lighten the field.
Geyer busted Brad Coultas when for Coultas’s last 700,000, he shoved with 3♦3♣ over the top of Geyer’s hijack open. Geyer called with A♦Q♠ and hit a queen on the turn to send out Coultas.
Lehmanski was also victorious in a flip when his 7♥7♠ held against the A♥Q♥ of Marty Mathis on a 10♣2♦2♥J♠4♣ board. Mathis was all-in for 455,000.
Both Coultas and Mathis earn $23,769. A look at the top of the leaderboard with players set to return shortly is below.
