DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #31 Final Table Wrap Up

Another DeepStack Extravaganza I tournament is in the books, and, as usual, it was a tremendous success. This time, Event #31 $800 NLH (8Max) offered a $250K guarantee; however, with our 523 players over the three flights, the prize pool ballooned to $366,100. Of those 523 players, 69 made it to Day 2, and 56 of them found themselves in the money.

Our final table was a skilled and friendly bunch of gentlemen. Despite not entering the final table with the chip lead, our champ Eddie Blumenthal slowly but surely used his wrestling background to take a stranglehold on the lead, and he never relinquished it. In fact, Blumenthal eliminated five players himself en route to his satisfying win.

The final three agreed to a deal, and were all quite happy with the outcome.

Congratulations again to Eddie Blumenthal who won a very respectable $75,388 and our stunning trophy.
