The Day 1A field continues to grow and on the second break of the day, the field is closing in on 500 entrants. More players are registering at every opportunity and this first opening flight is likely to top 600 entrants by the time registration closes around 9:00 pm. The $1,500,000 guarantee obviously will not be reached today but the encouraging start bodes well for tomorrow’s Day 1B.
Official numbers will be posted for this flight once the registration period concludes and all players who enter from this point forward will receive the standard stack of 20,000 chips. A recap of the chip counts from Day 1A are to be posted as play wraps up for the evening on the Venetian Poker Blog. Players will be on a 30-minute dinner break at the conclusion of Level 9.
