The DSE III series has featured many players who have either made multiple deep runs in events or picked up another trophy to add to their growing collection. A few of those players are in the Event 99 field and are attempting to make one more trip to the payout cage before all is said and done.
Matt Yorra is among the most profitable players who have participated in multiple DSE III events. Yorra has seven cashes so far and two final table appearances during the current series. The largest portion of Yorra’s earnings came in Event 56: $1,600 $2,000,000 guaranteed, when he finished fourth in a four-way deal for $190,000. A first place finish still eludes Yorra and perhaps Event 99 is the one that will push him over the top.
Daniel Bland won his third career Venetian title a few weeks ago when he took home $90,000 for winning Event 63: $600 SuperStack $200,000 guaranteed. Bland literally brought the trophy back home to England and has returned to add another title to his tota haul. There are few players who can claim four DSE III titles and Bland would join that elite company with a win this week in Event 99.
