Michael Youngman’s chip lead ceded to Ben Palmer thanks to a double dished out to Ross Ward. Youngman gained most of the chips back versus Doug Lee the next hand.

Ward was all-in for 760,000 with K♠9♣ out of the small blind and had three outs against Youngman’s 99♠ in the big blind. Ward used his “one time” and spiked a king on the K10♠6. One time apparently wasn’t enough as the K hit the turn. The Q♠ river certified Ward’s double.

Picking up the action on a board of J♣9♣6♠7♠, Youngman bet 250,000 from the small blind and Lee called next door. Youngman bet 350,000 more on the K♠ river and Lee beat him to the pot.

Lee waited for a second after Youngman tabled J10 and then mucked his hand.

Michael Youngman – 2,875,000
Ross Ward – 1,580,000
Doug Lee – 900,000
