With an A♦ 8♠ J♣ 2♠ board, Jie Xu moved all in. After some contemplation, Joy called and flipped over 10♠ Q♠. Xu showed pocket threes. When a J♥ came on the river, Joy was eliminated.

After taking that hit from Gary Salazar earlier, Paul Camby has been recouping some of his losses at the expense of Ryan LaPlante. In the first hand, LaPlante raised to 160K preflop and Camby called. The flop came 8♥ 8♦ 6♠ and La Plante bet 125K which Camby called. When a 2♠ hit on the turn, Camby shoved and LaPlante folded. In the following hand, Camby made another large turn bet and got LaPlante to fold again,

Jie Xu called Zakaryan’s all-in bet, and when Xu flipped over his pocket Kings, Zakaryan knew he had to hit an Ace to stay in the game as he showed A♠ 5♥. Xu’s Kings held up.

Gary Salazar just doubled up against Paul Camby when he risked his final 1.6 million chips with K♥ A♦. Camby called with K♦ Q♣. When the board hit A♥ 8♠ 9♦ 8♥ 5♦, Salazar breathed a sigh of relief and his tournament life continues.
