DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #1 Final Table Wrap Up

Our first multi-day tournament of DeepStack Extravaganza I—Event #1 $400 NLH MonsterStack $100K GTD—is in the books, and it was, indeed, a success. Out of 573 total entries, 81 players made it to Day 2, and our $191,955 prize pool nearly doubled our guarantee.

The final ten were a pleasant bunch: true gentlemen and very skilled players along with a nice combination of pros, amateurs, and everyone in between. In fact, this was our champion Paul Camby’s first big tournament win, while second-place finisher Ryan LaPlante is a seasoned pro with several WSOP final tables and a bracelet to his name.

Congratulations again to Paul Camby and his hefty $32,543 prize along with our stunning trophy.

Paul Camby Wins Event #1 and $32,543

Congratulations to Paul Camby from Sonoma, CA who took down our DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #1 $400 NLH MonsterStack $100K GTD winning $32,543 and our beautiful and highly coveted trophy.

Camby and Ryan LaPlante agreed to a deal after a rather lengthy heads-up match where the chip lead ping-ponged back and forth between these two very adept and good-natured gentlemen.
