Congratulations to (Nicholas) Eddie Blumenthal from Las Vegas, NV who took down our DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #31 $800 NLH (8Max) $250K GTD winning a hefty $75,388 and our stunning and highly coveted trophy.

Congratulations to Ekrem Bozkurt from Las Vegas, NV who finished second in our DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #31 $800 NLH (8Max) $250K GTD winning $46,598.

Congratulations to Spencer Champlin from Scarborough, ME who finished third in our DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #31 $800 NLH (8Max) $250K GTD winning $44,592.

Stay tuned, the remaining three gentlemen are discussing a deal.
Congratulations to Joseph Alban from Kona, HI who finished fourth in our DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #31 $800 NLH (8Max) $250K GTD winning $23,797.
Eddie Blumenthal scored yet another KO. This hand began with a preflop call/check. The flop fell 10♥ 3♠ 10♦ and both gentlemen checked. The turn was a K♣, and Alban checked. Blumenthal bet 165K, and Alban called. With a Q♥ on the river, Alban checked, Blumenthal shoved, and Alban called with his K♦ 4♦. Unfortunately for him, Blumenthal flopped a full house with his 10♣ 3♦ big-blind special.

Ekrem Bozkurt just made a gutsy move versus Kona Joe Alban. Alban raised to 325K from UTG and Bozkurt called. The flop fell a rainbow 2♠ 3♣ 7♥, and Alban c-bet 250K. Bozkurt shoved with his 1.335 million, and Alban folded.
It was Ekrem Bozkurt’s turn to double up. After Spencer Champlin min-raised from the button, Bozkurt shoved. from the small blind. After some contemplation, Champlin called. It was Bozkurt’s final 860K and A♥ 7♥ versus Champlin’s 6♠ 8♣. Bozkurt hit an Ace on the flop and doubled up.
Going into the Level 29 break, here is where our final four stand:
Ekrem Bozkurt: 2.31 million
Joseph Alban: 1.762 million
Eddie Blumenthal: 5.935 million
Spencer Champlin: 3.1 million
When they return, the blinds will be 60,000/120,000 (Ante: 60,000)
Kona Joe Alban is like a cat with multiple lives as he doubled up yet again; this time against Spencer Champlin. Alban shoved from the big blind with his 860K chip stack and J♠ A♠. Champlin called with pocket deuces. The board ran 5♠ K♠ 6♣ 6♠ 7♠ giving Alban his flush.
