Well, another successful DeepStack Extravaganza III tournament is in the books. This time, our Event #24 $400 NLH DoubleStack $100K GTD attracted 339 players who combined for a prize pool of $113,565. Of those players, 44 made it to Day 2, and 36 found themselves in the money.

Our final table was a quiet bunch this time, consisting of several regulars and a couple of visitors in town for the upcoming MSPT event. After some quick eliminations, play slowed considerably, and the players seemed to tighten up their play.

The chip lead moved around a bit, and there wasn’t really any one player who got and kept momentum. Champion Mike Christiansen began to chip up when we were four-handed, and he slowly and surely made his way to the finish line for the win.

When all was said and done, Christiansen emerged victorious and claimed his $20,957 and our beautiful trophy. Congratulations again Mike!
