The final hand has been dealt and the final pot has been pushed for DeepStack Extravaganza 3.5 after nearly one month of exciting tournament action.

Mel Wiener earned the designation as the top earner, taking home $52,000 after winning Event 27: $1,100 No-Limit SuperStack $200,000 Guarantee.

Jan Cerny

Jan Cerny finished the series as the highest earner without a first place finish, having placed runner-up in Event 35: $250 No-Limit Hold’em $250,000 Guarantee for $32,543 & 6th in Event 11: $340 No-Limit Hold’em DoubleStack for $5,211, bringing his DSE 3.5 total to more than $36,700.

Cerny edged out Karel Kratochvil for that distinction by less than $400 on the final night of DSE 3.5 with his runner-up finish in Event 35.

Karel Kratochvil  finished runner-up in Event 27 for $32,200 and seventh in Event 11 for $4,103 for a total of $36,303,

Charles Lee

Amir Egel tallied up the most cashes, picking up a piece of the prize pool in six separate events for a total of $9,435.

Event 35: $250 No-Limit Hold’em $250,000 Guarantee drew the largest field and amassed the biggest prize pool of DSE 3.5 with 1,438 entries and $294,790 into the purse. Charles Lee walked way victorious with a $50,846 pay day and a DSE Trophy.

Charles Lee outlasted a field of 1,438 entries to win the final event of DeepStack Extravaganza 3.5: Event 35: $250 No-Limit Hold’em $250,000 Guarantee. Lee left with $50,846 and the DSE Trophy.

With more than 18,000 in chips to runner-up Jan Cerny’s roughly 2,000,000, Lee called an all-in holding A♠9♠. Cerny tabled 33♠ and the two saw a flop of J65♣. Cerny stayed ahead with the 10 on the turn and Lee called for an Ace or a Nine. The river was the 9 and Cerny finished runner-up for $31,543.
