Well, another tournament series is in the books. This time it was our brand new Lucky Shot Poker Series and Drawing Event #1 $250 NLH $150K total prize pool. This event attracted 645 players over six flights, 129 of whom returned for Day 2. Of these returning players, we divvied up the $150,000 prize pool among 72 players.
Once we reached the final table (which was rather late due to the Lucky Shot drawing that necessitated pausing our tournament), the action was frenetic at the outset, but soon calmed down for a bit. Our final table was a nice mix of regulars, first-timers, locals, and visitors. We had players from Canada, France, New Zealand, and Portugal along with a few Las Vegans and others from around the US, and they all had big personalities which made the final table quite active and sometimes boisterous.
Shadd Baudoin had the chip lead for most of the final table. After all, he came into Day 2 fourth place in chips; however, our winner Diogo Bento got some crazy final table luck, which, along with his aggressive play, propelled him to victory.
When all was said and done, Diogo Bento held on to claim the victory, a hefty $30,750 prize and our beautiful and highly coveted trophy. Congratulations again to Diogo Bento from Portugal.

Congratulations again to the rest of our final table.
