The final table of Event 7 has slowed down since the barrage of all-ins in Level 23. With the average stack hovering at 40 big blinds, there haven’t been many pots that have reached the river but that ice was broken by the elimination of Derek Powell.

Powell moved all-in for 471,000 from under the gun and action folded to Andrew Yim in the big blind, who woke up with K♥K♠. Powell was in trouble with A♦J♠ and the Q♥9♦8♦ flop kept Yim ahead. Needing an ace, jack, or 10, Powell missed on the ensuing 4♣ turn and 6♦ river and shook hands with Yim as he exited.

Yim is now up to 1,785,000 and is in second place behind Said El Harrak.
