Airy Phanhyaseng took a relatively small hit against Dustin Lee at the end of Level 28 but regained those chips and then some against Ian Pearson. Pearson took a more than reasonable spot to get his last 12 blinds in the middle but there was no escaping the Phanhyaseng buzzsaw.

Pearson shoved for 980,000 from the small blind with A♠10♠ and Phanhyaseng woke up with Q♣Q♠ in the big blind. The 10♣9♥6♠ flop gave Pearson some additional life but needed some more help to stay alive.

The 8♥ turn put a few chop outs in play but the 3♥ river did not complete Pearson’s come back. Phanhyaseng is back up to 5,000,000.
