Richard Washinksy took an early double in the first orbit of the Event 18 final table but did not chip up any further from there. Washinsky is the latest player out with Jason Thalas doing the deed.

Washinsky moved all-in for 245,000 in the hijack and Thalas called in the big blind. Washinsky’s A♣6♥ trailed the A♠9♠ of Thalas and he needed some assistance to help his tournament life.

The 10♥7♣4♦3♠2♦ board gave Thalas little to fret over and he took in the last of Washinsky’s chips. Thalas’s chip lead is now up to 3,000,000 as he continues to distance himself from the field.
