Antoine Saout
Things have gone pretty much all Harrison Gimbel’s way since he first doubled a few hours ago and his latest trick resulted in the elimination of Antoine Saout. Saout was put in a precarious position by Gimbel and called for his tournament life in a pot that resulted in the tournament being down to heads up.
Saout limped the small blind and Gimbel raised to 90,000 from the big blind. Saout called and then checked the 10♥5♠4♥ flop. Gimbel bet 125,000 and Saout called. The 3♠ turn was checked by Saout and Gimbel pushed Saout all-in for his last 590,000.
Saout thought plenty hard about his decision and called to put himself at risk with A♠6♦. Gimbel was drawing with 8♥2♦ but hit the 8♦ on the river to pair up and eliminate Saout.
Gimbel comes into heads up play against Armand Muratoglu with a 4:1 chip lead.
