The current sub-30 big blind average stack is leading to a healthy amount of all-in shoves in Level 30. In the past two orbits alone, short-stack James Dempsey has had three shoves get through and Justin Liberto pushed once with no callers.
Neil Patel had the biggest gain when he moved all-in for 2,500,000 from the small blind following a 230,000 chip open from Andrei Konopelko and a button call by Darlene Lee. Both players folded with little hesitation and Patel boosted his stack to the middle of the leaderboard as a result. With the blinds soon to go up, the trend of preflop shoves should continue with Brandon Ienn, Dempsey and Liberto all under 20 bigs.
