Justin Liberto nearly doubled up by eliminating Richard Foster and is on pace to make Day 3 as he shoots for his second DSE III final table of the series.

The action has slowed down a few paces since the dinner break as the 40 big blind average stack is keeping pots controlled with the pay jumps starting to become more steep. In one of the few higher-end pots since play resumed, Justin Liberto took out Richard Foster and is playing 1,320,000 as a result.

Liberto opened to 36,000 on the button and Foster jammed for about 550,000 in the small blind. Liberto thought it over for a minute and then placed chips in the middle to signify a call. His call was the right one as he had Foster dominated with A♣K against the A♠Q♣ of Foster. The 10♠1082♣7♣ board ran clean for Liberto and he scored the knockout.

Liberto recently took fourth in the 8-Max event earlier this week and is one of the chip leaders in Level 22 as he pursues his second straight DSE III final table.
