It took a little bit shorter than what was probably expected but the final table for Event 56 is officially here. As he’s been doing for all of Day 3, Harsukhpaul Sangha sent the last two players necessary to the payout cage to put what started as a 2,200 player field down to 10.

Eric Vallee was the first to go when he got his last 360,000 into the middle on a A62 flop with 5♠3♠ against the A♣10♣ of Sangha. The K turn put chop outs in play to go along with Vallee’s straight outs but the K♣ river was the death knell for Vallee.

A few hands later, Khiem Nguyen was forced to flip against Sangha but the flop did not favor him. Nguyen was up to 2,000,000 but lost a few pots to fall back to 1,000,000. Sangha opened to 180,000 and Nguyen shoved for 1,075,000. Sangha called with KQ♣ and was racing against the 77♠ of Sangha. The Q♠9♣8 flop was a good one for Sangha and he finished off Nguyen.

The final table has been drawn for and the seating assignments and chip counts will be posted shortly.
