Six-max poker and an average stack of 40 big blinds tend to lead to some interesting postflop pots and that is indeed the case in Level 22. Andrei Boghean and Peter Dykes both took down a considerable pot and are climbing at the final table.
Boghean opened to 32,000 under the gun and was three-bet by Kyle Steinfelt to 81,000 in the small blind. Boghean called and Steinfelt continued for 65,000 on the A♥4♣3♦ flop. Boghean matched the bet and Steinfelt slowed down on the 5♦ turn. Boghean bet 70,000 and that won him the pot. Boghean is up to 600,000 with Steinfelt now down to 52,000.
Dykes raised to 32,000 in the small blind and Clement Richez called from the big blind. Dykes checked the J♣8♦6♣ flop and Richez bet 40,000. Dykes then got frisky with a raise to 142,000 and Richez let it go. Dykes is playing 425,000 and Richez is still second in chips with 745,000.
Before the blinds go up further, we should more interesting pots like these two develop.
