Raffaele Sorrentino opened the Event 84 final table as the dominating chip leader and picked up a bounty right off the bat with his elimination of Charles Phan.

Phan got it in on a K1010♠ flop for 400,000 with about that much in the middle holding J♣9♣ against the A♠K of Sorrentino. The rest of the board held and Sorrentino collected his $500 reward. He is playing 4,000,000, good for approximately 40 percent of the chips in play. Phan takes home $7,746

Andi Klatt

Next up, Maxim Sorokin doubled through Paul Hoefer to boost his tournament chances. Sorokin held QQ♠ versus the J♣J of Hoefer and doubled his stack to 850,000 following a dry runout. Hoefer falls back to 900,000.

Finally, Andi Klatt was eliminated in the last hand of the level byDimitrios Farmakoulis. Klatt moved all-in for 300,000 under the gun with 10♣10 and was looked up by the A♣9♣ of Farhakoukis, in the big blind. The 7♠64♣A8♠ board earned Farhakoukis the bounty. Klatt wins $9,811 and Farhakoukis is up to 1,550,000.
