Athanasios Polychronopoulos
Athanasios Polychronopoulos got what was effectively a double up by eliminating Chance Kornuth but most of those chips shifted over to Oddie Dardon. Chris Tryba got the rest of Polychronopoulos’s stack and the final table is now three-handed.
Tryba raised to 500,000 under the gun and Polychronopoulos shoved for 3,300,000 in the big blind. Tryba called with A♦7♦ and was flipping against the 4♣4♠ of Polychronopoulos. The K♥8♦7♠ flop put Tryba in the lead and he had a flush by the river to complete the knockout.
The three-handed chip counts are below. The players briefly paused the clock to look at the numbers but decided to play on.
- Chris Tryba – 14,385,000
- Oddie Dardon – 18,085,000
- Yaniv Peretz – 9,455,000
