Mitch Schock

Two of the shortest stacks at the Event 99 final table went to battle and Mitch Schock taking the first round and then Allen Cunningham getting the next.

Cunningham shoved for 1,300,000 with A4♠ and Schock called with 9♣9♠ for 850,000. The board held up for Schock and he gained a much needed double.

Down to 435,000, Cunningham shoved a few hands later and got calls from Oddie Dardon, Athanasios Polychronopoulos, and Tono Seunsom. The 94♣379 board was checked down by all players and went it came time to showdown, Cunningham’s A♠4 was enough to take the pot. He is back to 1,700,000 and Kurt Jewell is the new final table short stack.
