Bobby Poe

The all-ins continue to go strong at the Event 18 and James Rice along with Bobby Poe both won key pots to trade spots at the top of the leaderboard.

Mark Manesh raised the button to 275,000 and Rice defended his big blind to a flop of A♣Q♠10♣. Rice checked and Manesh threw in 400,000. 10 seconds ticked off the clock and Rice shoved for 3,750,000. Manesh called immediately for most of his stack with a combo draw K♣4♣. Rice led with Q♣10♠ and survived the 6 turn and A river.

Two hands later, Bobby Poe raised the cutoff for a standard amount and Rice flatted the button with Manesh coming in from the big blind.

Manesh checked the 1085 flop and Poe put in 400,000 more. Rice moved all-in and Manesh dumped his hand. Poe gave it a quick think and called with 8♠5♠. Rice’s overpair JJ was in trouble and he didn’t catch up on the A♣ turn or Q river.

Poe is now the chip leader by a slim margin with Manesh at the back of the pack.

Bobby Poe – 6,150,000
James Rice – 5,450,000
Sean Jazayeri – 3,160,000
Mark Manesh – 1,650,000
