Immediately after putting a cooler on Chad Campbell to double up, Patrick Khayat clinched the Event 36 title via another ice-cold hand to seal his victory.

Khayat limped the button and Campbell checked to the 7♣4♥2♠ flop. Campbell checked and Khayat bet 100,000. A check-raise came from Campbell to 250,000 and Khayat potted. Campbell re-potted all-in for 1,340,000 total and Khayat called.

Khayat’s J♦7♦7♠5♦ set crushed the A♣J♠7♥2♦ of Campbell and the 2♥ left him with a one-outer to stay alive.
