Event 118: Play Underway, Donovan Leads

Event 118: $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Summer Saver II $1,000,000 Guarantee

Level 31
Blinds: 60,000/120,000/20,000
Players Remaining: 5/986
Average Stack: 3,945,000

The final five players are back for Day 3 play of the Summer Saver II $1 million guarantee. Zach Donovan is the chip leader with close to 40 percent of the chips in play holding 7,750,000.

All four players who trail are capable in their own right and have an eye on the $190,000 first-place prize. Two players, in particular, stand out.

Jonathan Karamalikis finished second in the $3,500 $3 million guarantee in last summer’s DSE III and looks to pick up his first title of the DeepStack Championship Poker Series.

John Dolan is a past November Niner and in the spirit of the Main Event final table being today, perhaps can use that mojo to climb his way to victory.

Levels today are 40-minutes and there should be quite a bit of action with the blinds picking up the pace.
