As always, this three-day tournament was an exciting one with some great players. With 633 total players, 81 made it to day 2, and our final ten demonstrated both skill and great sportsmanship. The $100K guarantee was nearly doubled with a total prize pool of $177,240.

When all was said and done, Adam Pritchett and Adrian Chan agreed on a heads-up chop giving Chan the victory and our beautiful and highly coveted trophy.

Update on DeepStack Extravaganza (NYE) Event #3 Final Table

It’s been a bit quiet, but Adrian Chan just won a nice pot against Adam Pritchett. Chan raised preflop to 200K and Pritchett and Craig Le Compte both called. The flop fell 4♠ Q♦ 2♦ and the three gentlemen checked. When a K♥ came on the turn, after Le Compte and Pritchett checked, Chan bet 300K. Le Compte got out of the way, and Pritchett called. With an A♦ on the river, Pritchett bet 575K and Chan called with his Ace.

On the next hand, Chan won another 1.5 million from Pritchett. Chan went from relatively short-stacked to back in the mix.
