DeepStack Extravaganza I Event #19 Final Table Wrap Up

Well, another DeepStack Extravaganza I tournament is in the record books. Our Event #19 $600 NLH MonsterStack $150K GTD attracted 585 players, and we nearly doubled our guarantee with a whopping $298,350 prize pool. 107 players made it to Day 2, and the field was whittled down to our final ten lucky and highly skilled participants.

Whereas the first part of the final table went relatively quickly, when we got down to the final five, the chip lead moved around quite a bit with some large pots being won and lost. Then, when we reached heads-up action, the two Jeremies—Pekarek and Joseph—negotiated a deal right off the bat, but held out $10,000 and the trophy, thus enabling the two men to duke it out to the very end and enabling one to secure the win and bragging rights.

When all was said and done, Jeremy Joseph won the event, a hefty $56,889, and our beautiful and highly coveted trophy. Congratulations again, Jeremy.
