After Richard Ripoll raised to 225K from UTG, Friedman shoved with his final 2-ish million chipstack from the small blind. Raymond Slabbekoorn called effective from the big blind, and Ripoll got out of the way. Friedman turned over Q♠ A♦ and Slabbekoorn showed A♣ K♠. Slabbekoorn’s King kicker held firm and Friedman was out.
Solid performance. I am sure we will be seeing much more of Mordy Friedman in tournaments to come.
