DeepStack Championship Event #6 Final Table Wrap Up

Well, another highly successful DeepStack Championship Poker Series event is in the books. This time it was our Event #6 $400 NLH MonsterStack $150K GTD. This tournament attracted 569 players who combined for a prize pool of $190,615. Of those 569 players, 82 made it to Day 2.

Our final table was a pleasant mix of pros, amateurs, regulars, and fresh faces from across the globe. They were a pleasant bunch, truly, and the final table was, indeed, well-played, good-natured, and quite strategic.

Nicholas Naccarato took a stranglehold on the chip lead when we were six-handed and kept a firm grasp on it until our ultimate champ Dan Heimiller snuck up from behind when we were three-handed to take—and keep—the lead. It was at this point, the three men discussed a chop, an amicable deal was made, and all three gentlemen walked away happy, leaving Heimiller as our champion.

Congratulations again to local pro Dan Heimiller who won a nifty $31,201 and our stunning trophy.
