DeepStack Championship Event #15 Final Table Wrap Up

Another successful DeepStack Championship event is in the books. This time, our Event #15 $600 NLH DoubleStack $250K GTD attracted a whopping 832 players who created a prize pool of $424,320; nearly doubling our guarantee. Of those, 94 made it to Day 2, and we paid out 90 places.

This was a long and well-played final table with some serious betting and some serious chip stacks. When we were down to four players, a deal was made in which the players agreed to prize winnings based on their chip counts; however, they each gave up 10% of their winnings to create a $20,000 additional prize pool and our trophy for which to play.

When all was said and and done, Jonathan Wong snatched the chip lead from Robert Fulford late in the heads-up match and emerged victorious, winning his agreed-upon $38,815 plus $20,000 for a hefty $58,815 and our stunning trophy.

Congratulations again to Jonathan Wong from the UK.
