Congratulations to Kevin Lott from Las Vegas, NV who finished seventh in our DeepStack Extravaganza II Event #15 $400 NLH DoubleStack $100K GTD winning $3,700.
Lott fell victim to Seat #3, as did Adam Nagel in a hand where both Nagel and Lott shoved preflop. Nagel, with his 325K chips and Lott with his 320K chips. Seat #3 called. It was Nagel’s K♥ J♠ versus Lott’s pocket tens versus #3’s Q♣ A♠. When the board ran K♠ A♦ 8♥ 9♠ 2♥, #3 scored a double KO.

The short-stacked Robert Banto just doubled up courtesy of Kevin Lott. This hand began with Banto shoving from the lojack with his final 145K chips and Q♥ 8♥. Lott called effective from the small blind with Q♣ A♠. When the flop hit 4♦ 5♠ K♣, Banto was hopeful; however, when a Q♠ hit the turn, he stood up preparing to leave. When an 8♦ hit the river, Banto was obviously relieved.
The short-stacked Brandon Howard just won a decent 430K-ish pot from James Piccolo in a hand where Piccolo raised preflop and post-flop from the cutoff position, and Howard called both times. Once the river card hit, Howard led out, and Piccolo folded.
Seat #3 continues his rise from being formerly short-stacked. In one hand versus Julio Novo, #3 won an 800K-ish pot, and then he shoved against Adam Nagel’s 105K raise, causing Nagel to fold. #3 is our current chip leader.
Brandon Howard just doubled up against Julio Novo after Howard shoved from the big blind with his final 235K and A♣ 6♣. Novo snap called from the small blind with 10♠ J♥. Howard hit an Ace on the flop, and then received an insurance Ace on the turn to take the pot and continue his tournament.
Adam Nagel just doubled up against Robert Banto in a hand where Nagel shoved from the big blind preflop with his final 345K chips and pocket eights. Even though Banto held two over cards (9♣ Q♥), Nagel’s pair held up.
Seat #3 continues to build his chip stack. In this hand, #3 found himself heads up against Kevin Lott after Lott raised preflop to 70K from the hijack position, and #3 called from the big blind. The flop fell 10♣ 8♥ 2♥, and #3 checked. Lott c-bed 80K, and #3 called. When a 9♦ hit the turn, #3 checked, and Lott -cbet 135K. #3 called. A Q♣ fell on the river, and #3 bet 75K. Lott called. #3 showed his Q♥ A♥, and Lott mucked.
Congratulations to Dino Nigro from Las Vegas, NV who finished eighth in our DeepStack Extravaganza II Event #15 $400 NLH DoubleStack $100K GTD winning $2,850.
Nigro fell to Kevin Lott when Lott paired his Queen on the flop, and Nigro couldn’t pair his King. Lott became 405K richer.
The quiet Robert Banto just doubled up his 436K chip stack against Julio Novo in a hand that began with a preflop raising battle between the two gentlemen before Banto shoved with pocket Kings which ultimately held up against Novo’s A, J off.
