Skylar Martinez and Patrick Khayat engaged in multi-hand battle with Martinez getting the upper hand for now.

The first hand, Khayat opened the hijack to 55,000 and Martinez defended his big blind. The 86♣6 flop checked through and Martinez led for 65,000 on the 7 turn.  Khayat raised to 175,000 and a moment passed before Martinez called.

The J♠ river was checked by Martinez and Khayat shoved for 290,000 effective. Martinez said he wished he had a better hand citing a possible bluff from Khayat and eventually folded.

A few hands later, the two players and Chad Campbell saw a Q♠98 flop. Campbell checked the small blind and Martinez bet 65,000 from early position. Khayat raised to 200,000 and Campbell folded.

Martinez called all-in for 166,000 total with J♠1077♠ for a straight and was up against the set of queens QQ52♠ from Khayat. The board failed to pair and Martinez doubled. Updated counts for the table are below.
