Marty Mathis was the first player to hit the hallowed mark of 1,000,000 chips but there are now two more players who are playing a similar amount. Mathis is still plenty healthy with his own stack, he just now has some company joining him.

Seth Davies was chugging along with 400,000 before the last break but is now the chip leader with 1,375,000. Davies made the biggest splash of his career last summer when he finished second in the SHRPO Championship for a reported $575,000 that goes along with his 2016 WPT title. A few pay jumps await Davies before he hits his largest career score at the Venetian and the rest of the field is on notice as this dangerous player leads in Level 20.

Davies made his jump in the last level but John Sun has been working his way up from the time cards were in the air. The 2016 MSPT Tama Champion is sitting with 1,100,000 and sits third behind Davies and Mathis as he looks to keep on riding Day 2 high through the dinner break.
