Matthias Eibinger
What was expected to be a slow start to the new level turned into fireworks as Mo Arani and Matthias Eibinger both were eliminated in the first 10 minutes of play. Both were short-stacked coming back from dinner and wasted little time getting their chips in, only to come up empty.
Eibinger shoved for 1,985,000 under the gun with 6♦6♥ and Salaburu called with K♣K♠. Both players hit the K♦Q♣6♣ flop but Eibinger was on the short end of it, needing a one-outer to stay alive. The turn and river did not provide salvation and he takes home $79,998 for his seventh place finish. Salaburu chips up to almost 10,000,000.

Mo Arani
Arani was next to go after losing a flip to Harsukhpaul Sangha. Sangha opened to 300,000 in the hijack and Arani shoved for 1,700,000 on the button. Sangha called with Q♣J♠ and had to hit against the 7♥7♠ of Arani. The A♥K♦8♣2♣J♦ board gave Sangha a pair on the river to win the hand. Arani shook hands and went to collect his $102,397 prize for sixth place.
Sangha is playing over 13,000,000 and back to a more comfortable position as chip leader.
