Just when it looked like Harsukhpaul Sangha was running away with the final table, Dan DiZenzo checked his heat and doubled up as a result. DiZenzo has been in the middle of the pack for the whole final table and is at his new peak for the tournament.

DiZenzo opened in early position for a standard raise and Sangha defended his big blind. Sangha shoved for 2,400,000 effective on the J6♣3♣ flop and DiZenzo called with A♣8♣ for the nut flush draw. Sangha was in bad shape with K♣4♣ and had six immediate outs at his disposal. The J turn and 10 river gave DiZenzo the pot and he is up to 5,500,000.

Sangha and Rob Salaburu are neck-and-neck for the chip lead, with each playing roughly 11,500,000. DiZenzo and Adam Geyer are the two “short stacks” at the final table but both have on either side of the 50 big blind mark with Geyer playing 6,500,000.
