Mo Arani is back to 40 big blinds after doubling up through Adam Geyer.

The start of Level 27 was much quieter than its predecessors but two double ups and an elimination on Table 17 changed that.

Daniel Chuprun moved all-in for 515,000 under the gun with 99♠ and got action from John Pappas in the big blind with A6♠. The Q♠J♣6J4 board worked for Chuprun and he high-fived his rail as he shipped the pot.

Down to 20,000 after paying out the double, Pappas was all-in the next hand but he wasn’t the only player at risk. Adam Geyer opened in the hijack and Mo Arani shoved for 1,050,000 on his direct left. Geyer called with 88 and was flipping against the AK♣ of Arani.

A king on the flop put Arani ahead and he held to double while busting out Pappas. Geyer slips to 3,550,000 with two players left to be eliminated until 18 remain.
