Level 24
Blinds: 12,000-24,000 w/4,000 ante
Total Entrants: 259

Average Stack: 971,000

It is still the Matthew Leecy Show at the Event 76 final table as the full-time chip leader continues to drive the action. He recently lost a few back to Clement Richez, but Leecy is still in the driver’s seat.

Leecy opened to 50,000 under the gun and Richez shoved for 479,000 in the big blind. Leecy thought for two minutes and called with A9♠ to put the 8♣8♠ of Richez at risk. The K♠K4K10 board held up for Richez and he doubled. Players will be on dinner break at the end of this level but before they are, below is a look at the four-handed counts.

  1. Clement Richez – 1,010,000
  2. Matthew Leecy – 1,650,000
  3. Kyle Steinfelt – 610,000
  4. Vi Do – 465,000
