Luciano’s elimination hand began when Richard Leger – who won this same event two days ago – moved all-in for about 300,000 from under the gun. Luciano, down to about 120,000 announced he was all-in from middle position.

The button and blinds folded and the hands were tabled. Leger showed A♦10♥ and Luciano tabled A♦Q♥.

Luciano looked good for a double-up after a flop of 5♥2♦2♣ and the J♠ turn, the 10♣ on the river gave Leger a pair and Luciano was eliminated.
