The DSE III series has added many faces to the Winner’s Gallery in the last few weeks. Those players are lodged in Venetian lore and a few of them are back in Event 99 looking to become the first player this series to make a repeat trip to the winner’s circle.

David Stamm earned one of the largest prizes at the Venetian this summer when he took down Event 33: $10,000 High Roller for $306,000. The victory was a great achievement for Stamm as he beat a stacked final table filled with Darren Elias, Paul Volpe, and Adrian Mateos, with Sam Soverel finishing second. The California tech executive is coming off of a cash in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event and is well equipped to make his second final table of the DSE III series.

Neil Patel earned his trophy in Event 53: $800 8-Max $800,000 guaranteed. Patel put on a stellar display at that final table and finished on top of 1,500 player field for his second six-figure score of 2017. Patel also cashed in the Main Event and wouldn’t mind the checked bag fee that would come with bringing another DSE III trophy home with him.
