Ahmed Taleb held the chip lead through most of the final table, but when heads-up play began Affleck soon turned the tables and took the lead for himself.

Taleb, down to less than 1,000,000, moved all-in from the button with A♦2♥ and Affleck called with K♥J♥. Taleb spiked a two and hoped for a double-up following a Q♣6♦2♣ flop, but Affleck picked up a pair of Kings with the K♠ on the turn. The river was the 3♣, cementing Affleck as the winner and Taleb runner-up for a $70,811 payday.
