Christiansen started Day 2 towards the bottom of the leaderboard but manoeuvred his way through the field before ending up at the final table with a mid-sized stack.

He patiently sat back as three of his opponents were eliminated before accepting a deal seven-handed which saw him pocket $52,000 for his efforts.
