James Carroll recouped some of his chips when he raised preflop to 380K and Jesse Sylvia called. With a Q♥ 3♦ 8♠ flop, Sylvia checked, Carroll C-bet 400K, and Sylvia called. With a 5♠ turn, both men checked. A K♠ fell on the river, Sylvia checked, and Carroll bet nearly two million. Sylvia called, and Carroll’s A♥ K♣ won the hand. Sylvia didn’t show his cards.

Jesse Sylvia just had a massive double up: to the tune of 7.005 million. After James Carroll raised preflop to 400K, Sylvia re-raised to 1.4 million. Carroll shoved, and Sylvia snap called. It was Carroll’s A♠ 3♦ versus Sylvia’s A♦ 9♠. The board ran 5♥ 6♦ J♥ 4♠ 10♣, and Sylvia is now the chip leader.

Going into the Level 32 break, James Carroll has approximately 16.6 million chips while Jesse Sylvia has around 6.4 million.

In this hand Mitch Garshofsky went all in from UTG with his 520K chip stack. Hutter called all-in effective, and James Carroll called as well. It was Garshofsky’s K♥ A♣ versus Hutter’s pocket fours and Carroll’s Q♦ A♦. The board ran 7♦ 5♣ 6♠ A♥ K♦, Garshofsky won the main pot, and Carroll got the side pot, eliminating Hutter.

Mitch Garshofsky is, indeed, a fighter. In the first hand, Garshofsky was in the big blind, with his 100K not even making the 120K big blind. James Carroll called from the small blind, and Garshofsky doubled up.

In the next hand, Garshofsky shoved from the small blind with his final 200K, and Jesse Sylvia called. Garshofsky’s A♣ 9♣ held up against Sylvia’s 2♦ 3♣ on a 9♥ A♠ 3♠ 4♠ K♥ board, and Garshofsky doubled up again.

James Carroll just crippled Mitch Garshofsky. This hand began with Carroll raising to 275K preflop from the button. Garshofsky re-raised to one million. Carroll re-raised to 2.075 million, and Garshofsky shoved. Carroll snap called with his pocket Aces. Garshofsky’s pocket tens didn’t have a chance. Carroll amassed 6.505 million of Garshofsky’s chips, leaving the latter with a mere 100K.
