Anthony Maio is the new Event 51 chip leader after taking down a sizable pot against Louis Linard.

Anthony Maio has been the most active player so far at the Event 51 final table and his latest victory has him in the chip lead after catching the right card against Louis Linard.

Linard opened to 25,000 in the hijack and Armand Muratoglu called in the cutoff. Maio put in a three-bet to 85,000 and Linard followed that up by making it 150,000 total. Muratoglu got out of the way and Linard and Maio were heads up. The two players checked down the full J9♠7♣7Q♣ board and Maio threw over AQ for a rivered pair. Linard shook his head, as apparently Maio had drawn against him, and mucked his cards.

With the pot, Maio is the new chip leader and playing 720,000.
